About us
Nestled in the scenic mountains of Bohol Island in the Philippines, the Bohol Coconuts Sports Club offers elite athletic training in baseball, softball, basketball, and soccer for area boys and girls. The Coconuts will also have recreational leagues for adults in badminton, slow-pitch softball, and pickleball.
The Club, which is owned by Bohol native Lerma Moore and her American husband, will feature a Soup Kitchen with low-cost student lunches along with discounted menu items for club members. The Coconuts will celebrate their Grand Opening on Saturday, January 3, 2026, with a Youth Talent Show and Community BBQ.

Lerma A. Moore
General ManagerLerma is a small business owner who has served two terms on the Cambanac Barangay Council. She enjoys gardening, traveling, Tongits, and watching her son play collegiate basketball.
Merv Moore
Athletic Director/Baseball CoachMerv coached in Europe for six years and transformed a woeful Swiss National Team into a B-Pool contender. The native Texan has also coached tournament teams in 14 countries.
Diosdado Banua
Memberships/PartnershipsDoodz is a longtime Municipal of Baclayon employee and small business owner. He enjoys working with the local youth and his hobbies include cooking, fishing, and cockfighting.
Hali Moore
Social Media/Staff WriterHali is a college student studying Psychology and enjoys traveling, reading, K-Pop, and the cinema. Her dream job is a Travel Blogger, and the ace student also has an interest in Law School.
