The Bohol Coconuts Performance Center is taking a massive step from vision to reality. As we prepare to break ground on our flagship facility, we are thrilled to announce that Rogelio Olayon, one of the most respected and sought-after home builders in the Baclayon area, has officially been tapped to lead the construction of our luxury Eco-Lodge.
Bringing the area’s top carpenter onto the project guarantees that the Eco-Lodge will be built to the absolute highest standards of quality, durability, and tropical craftsmanship.
A 31-Year Legacy of Excellence
Known for his meticulous attention to detail and uncompromising standards, Olayon brings a wealth of
expertise to the Coconuts compound. Over his impressive 31-year career in construction, he has successfully built and delivered a portfolio of over 70 housing projects across the region.
But Olayon—known affectionately throughout the region as “Kap”—is more than just a master builder; he is a local political force and a deeply respected community pillar. He has served a combined 23 years as the Cambanac Barangay Captain, proving his lifelong dedication to the people of Bohol.
He also shares a deep family tie to the Coconuts leadership team, as he is the uncle of our General Manager, Lerma.
“We want a world-class Eco-Lodge and ‘Kap’ is the best in the area,” GM Lerma shared when announcing the partnership. “Kap built our first house and it was a no-brainer to get the best home builder in Baclayon to join this project.”

The 2026 Construction Timeline
With the leadership team now in place, the Eco-Lodge is moving rapidly toward its launch phase. Here is the official roadmap for the remainder of the year:
April: Final architectural designs and blueprints will be officially submitted to the local municipal government.
June: Once the plans are approved and permits are issued, Kap and his crew will officially break ground, and construction will begin.
December: The Eco-Lodge will be fully completed, culminating in a VIP Grand Opening celebration.
