Building a Legacy From the Dirt Up

The Founders Club exists for people who do not want to simply donate to a dream. They want to help build something real, sustainable, and lasting on Bohol Island.

“We didn’t start the Bohol Coconuts to run a standard charity. Charities eventually run out of money. We came to build a self-sustaining ecosystem.”
— Merv & Lerma Moore

What This Mission Is Really About

The vision is bigger than baseball. It is about creating an economic engine that helps feed kids, support academic discipline, fund sports development, and create long-term opportunity through one integrated model.

7 Rooms Premium eco-lodge suites designed to help power the mission through hospitality revenue.
1 Compound Baseball infield, batting cages, weight room, soup kitchen, and a real center for community impact.
1 Legacy A permanent structure built to keep local youth fed, focused, and moving toward a bigger future.

Why This Story Matters

This is not a vague feel-good project. It is a direct response to what was seen on the ground: talent everywhere, resources nowhere, and too many young people left without the structure they deserve.

01

The Reality on the Ground

In the Philippine provinces, the talent is undeniable. So is the hardship. Kids train on rough fields, often with limited equipment and inconsistent access to even the basics. That reality demanded more than charity. It demanded a better system.

02

The Economic Engine

Instead of building something fragile, the vision became a closed-loop ecosystem. Hospitality, media, sports tourism, and property ownership work together to create recurring revenue that helps fund meals, equipment, academic support, events, and youth development.

03

The Standard

The mission is not only athletic. The standard is discipline, structure, and accountability. The “No Pass, No Play” rule reinforces that the classroom matters too. The goal is to help build better athletes, stronger students, and more focused futures.

The Closed-Loop Ecosystem

The Coconuts Performance Center is designed to operate as more than a sports facility. It is a working ecosystem where premium accommodations and media exposure help create the cash flow needed to support meaningful community impact.

  • Eco-lodge hospitality helps generate recurring revenue
  • The “Building the Coconuts” docuseries amplifies the mission and brand
  • Revenue supports meals, uniforms, contests, tutoring, and development
  • Sports tourism and real estate help move the project beyond hand-to-mouth fundraising

Why the Founders Club Exists

The Founders Club was created for serious believers who want a real stake in what is being built. This is not about throwing money into the air and hoping something happens. It is about aligning capital, mission, visibility, and legacy.

  • Support a real, visible project from the ground floor
  • Attach your family or business name to a lasting physical asset
  • Gain meaningful placement inside a larger story and media platform
  • Become part of a mission built for permanence, not temporary momentum

The Leadership Behind the Vision

This mission runs on grit, local trust, operational discipline, and a refusal to think small. The leadership model combines global ambition with deep local connection.

Co-Founder & Director of Baseball Operations

Coach Merv Moore

Coach Merv brings Texas toughness, business-minded strategy, and long-range ambition to the project. His role spans construction oversight, investor-facing vision, docuseries storytelling, and player development. The mission is clear: build a facility and culture capable of helping turn Bohol into a serious destination for elite baseball opportunity in Southeast Asia.

Co-Founder & Director of Community Impact

Lerma Moore

Lerma is the local bridge, the operational heartbeat, and the steady force that keeps vision connected to reality. She helps navigate local logistics, supports hospitality operations, and ensures the mission stays rooted in respect for the community it serves. Her leadership keeps the project grounded, human, and deeply connected to Bohol itself.

Welcome to the Inner Circle

The Founders Club is for those who want more than passive interest. It is for the builders, the visionaries, and the ground-floor believers who understand that real legacy is created when purpose, ownership, and long-term strategy come together.
