The Bohol Coconuts provides essential services to both youth and adult club members that significantly impacts their daily lives. From elite sports training to social activities to a unique food services program, our club offers services that helps members become the best possible versions of themselves.
Elite Baseball Training
The Coconuts Baseball Program is directed by American coach Merv Moore and aims to build a pipeline of collegiate, national team, and minor league baseball prospects on Bohol Island.
Elite Softball Training
The Coconuts Softball Program is directed by Coach Moore and will utilize American and European female softball players to train youth club members.
Youth Kickball Training
The Coconuts Kickball Program is directed by Coach Moore and offers recreational sports tournaments and leagues for youth club members.
Adult Recreational Sports
The Coconuts Adult Sports Program is directed by Coach Moore and provides badminton, kickball, and slow-pitch softball to adult members.
Social Activities
The Social Activities Program is directed by Lerma Moore and will include a monthly lineup of exciting social events and activities for youth and adult club members.
Academic Contests
The Academic Program is directed by Lerma Moore and will include academic contests in Spelling, Arts & Crafts, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Science, Writing, and Math.
Educational Field Trips
The Academic Program is directed by Lerma Moore and will include field trips to the Chocolate Hills, Tarsier Conservation Area, Bohol Bee farm, Blood Compact Monument, and much more.
Soup Kitchen
The Soup Kitchen is managed by Lerma Moore and provides reduced prices for soup options, vegetable dishes, pancit noodles, Filipino barbecue, and frozen milk shakes.
Discount Food Store
The food store is managed by Lerma Moore and will offer discount prices on basic food items, including rice, canned goods, instant noodles, cooking oil, snacks, and much more.
Monthly Memberships
The Memberships Department will be directed by Diosdado Banua and includes an array of options, including youth (P30), adults (P50), and family memberships (P100).
Volunteer Abroad Program
The Volunteer Abroad Program is directed by Lerma Moore and will recruit Americans and Europeans to visit Bohol Island for 2-8 weeks to assist the club with coaching and seminars.
Club Franchises
Coach Moore will market and sell eight club franchises in Bohol, and six franchises in neighboring Cebu for $20,000 each. The clubs will form the Bohol Youth Sports Association (BYSA).
