Following the exciting announcement of our ambitious affiliate club expansion across all 17 villages of Baclayon, the Bohol Coconuts Baseball & Softball Club is proud to unveil the complete schedule for our inaugural 2026 Summer League.
This league represents a major step in our vision to develop baseball and softball talent across Bohol, creating a structured pathway for players of all ages and skill levels.
League Overview & Key Information
Season Dates: April 11 – May 23, 2026
Game Locations: Seven field locations in Poblacion, San Isidrio, Payahan, San Roque, Santa Cruz, Libertad, and Cambanac.
Monday-Friday: League Games (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Saturday-Sunday: Skills Camps for all players.
Phase 1: Opening Weekend Skills Camps (April 11-12)
The league kicks off with a weekend of elite instruction led by our Sports Director and Head Coach, Merv Moore, bringing his decades of international experience directly to our players.
Saturday, April 11 & Sunday, April 12
- Rookie & Single-A Divisions: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Double-A & Triple-A Divisions: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Juniors Division: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
All camps will be held at the Poblacion Central Field.
Phase 2: Regular Season (April 13 – May 1)
Format: A 15-game round-robin regular season. Every team plays one game per day, Monday through Friday.
Focus: Skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. There will be no playoffs for the regular season.
Game Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
Daily Game Blocks:
- Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Afternoon Session: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Specific team schedules and field assignments will be released in March.
Phase 3: All-Star League (May 4 – May 22)
Following the regular season, top performers from each affiliate village club will be selected to form three elite teams in each age division.
Format: Triple round-robin. Each All-Star team will play a doubleheader on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Schedule:
- Game Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (Doubleheaders)
- Off Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday
- Skills Camps Continue: On off days (Tue/Thu/weekends), we will host skills camps for all youth not participating in the All-Star League, ensuring continuous development for every member.
Grand Finale: Awards Banquet (May 23)
The entire Bohol Coconuts community will come together to celebrate the season’s achievements.
Date: Saturday, May 23, 2026
Event: An evening of awards, recognition for players and volunteers, and a community dinner.
