Coconuts Update: Revised 2026 Schedule; Sponsorship Announcements

To our incredible Coconuts community, supporters, and future players,

First, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your unwavering support and patience. Due to an unforeseen family health matter, our Head Baseball Coach and Sports Director, Marvin “Merv” Moore, has to extend his stay in Texas. His 86-year-old father’s health has taken a difficult turn, requiring Coach Merv’s presence.

“I am hopeful to return to Bohol next month, but nothing is certain at the moment,” Coach Merv shared. Thank you for your understanding and prayers.”

📅 Revised Bohol Coconuts Spring 2026 Calendar

In light of Coach Merv’s delayed return, we have adjusted our event schedule. Our General Manager, Lerma Moore, emphasized the importance of having the full team together for our key milestones.

“While we are eager to launch, my husband has put his heart and soul into the Bohol Coconuts, and I want him to be a part of the Grand Opening,” Lerma stated. “This club is a family effort, and we will start this journey as a family, with our community.”

Here is our updated schedule:

March 21: Cardboard Chair Challenge

April 6-11: Baseball & Softball Assessment Camp

April 17: Summer Baseball & Softball Leagues Opening Night

April 18: Summer Baseball & Softball League Opening Day

May 13-17: Summer Baseball & Softball League Playoffs

May 23: Summer Baseball & Softball League Awards Banquet

May 30: Bohol Coconuts All-Star Select Teams Announced

Registration details for tryouts and membership will be announced in the coming weeks.

Despite being thousands of miles away, Coach Merv has been actively building the future of our club through strategic meetings in Texas, securing partnerships and sponsorships that will dramatically elevate our programs and facilities.
