Baclayon Elementary School’s annual Scout Day was filled with camaraderie and nourishment as students from Grades 1 to 6 (ages 7-12) came together for a special nutritional feeding event. This longstanding tradition highlights the school’s commitment to supporting both the physical and moral development of its young learners and scouts.

Young members of the Boys Scouts and Girls Scouts and other students enjoyed a well-rounded meal featuring Filipino favorites, including spaghetti, pancit, and macaroni salad. The spread was thoughtfully prepared to provide energy and nutrition, complemented by sweet treats such as sponge cake, loaf bread, fresh bananas, and cupcakes, bringing smiles to each child’s face.

The day also included a meaningful church service, where the scouts gathered in reverence and reflection. The spiritual component of the event reinforced the core values of scouting—discipline, service, and community—while deepening the children’s connection to faith and fellowship.

Through this cherished annual tradition, Baclayon Elementary School not only feeds growing bodies but also nurtures character and unity among its young scouts, creating memories of joy, service, and shared purpose.
