Bohol is one of the most stunning islands in the Philippines. It has the Chocolate Hills. It has the world’s smallest primate. It has turquoise water, white sand, and some of the warmest people you will ever meet. What it does not have is an elite baseball and softball academy.
That is where we come in. We are building the Bohol Coconuts Baseball and Softball Club from the ground up — and we are filming every moment of it for our YouTube docuseries, Building the Coconuts. The search for players. The hunt for a field. The first time someone picks up a bat. The setbacks, the breakthroughs, and the moments that make you question everything. All of it.
“Baseball arrived in the Philippines over a century ago. In Manila, in Cebu, the game has deep roots. But on Bohol? The diamond is still waiting to be drawn.”
Building the Coconuts is a YouTube reality docuseries that tells this story. It is a sports story, an expat adventure, a community documentary, and an underdog tale all wrapped into one. And it is going to be free to watch on YouTube — for anyone, anywhere in the world, forever.

Lerma Moore
I was born and raised right here in Bohol, and this island is my whole heart. Together with my husband, we are building Bohol’s very first baseball and softball club — and filming everything along the way. For me, this is not about baseball. It is about giving this community something to belong to. A team. A practice to show up for. A jersey with their name on it.
