The Bohol Coconuts Baseball and Softball Club is recruiting four volunteer baseball coaches for our 2026 Volunteer Abroad Program. Our mission is to develop elite collegiate, national team, and minor league baseball prospects.
We’re seeking volunteer coaches who have a passion for teaching baseball, and are willing to relocate overseas to help train talented Filipino boys.
The Coconuts are seeking qualified applicants for the following positions:
• Pitching Coach • Hitting Coach • Infield Coach • Outfield Coach
The Coconuts will organize tournaments and leagues for various age groups, and select the top players for our All-Star program. Our youth development programs consists of 250 days annually of trainings and games.
Volunteer coaches will direct practice sessions, camps, tournaments, and league games. Other duties includes teaching coach trainees, umpires, and scorekeepers.
Our volunteer abroad program includes a shared or private room, meals, airport transfers, community events, club activities, ground transportation, and much more! Volunteer coaches have the opportunity to directly impact the athletic and academic futures of our club members.
Bohol is a nature paradise that boast lush tropical forests, diverse wildlife, white sand beaches, friendly people, and delicious local cuisine!
Visit the Tarsier Sanctuary and meet the world’s smallest primates, or marvel at the unique geologic formation of the Chocolate Hills. Take a Loboc River Cruise with a lunch buffet or set sail for a Panglao island-hopping adventure. The island paradise known as the “Jewel of the Philippines” also offers world-class snorkeling and the opportunity to swim with giant whale sharks.
Our Volunteer Abroad Program aims to make a difference in the lives of young people in Barangay Cambanac and surrounding villages. Volunteer coaches are role models who utilizes actions and words to teach club members the importance of hard work, self-discipline, and personal growth. Besides poverty and illegal drug use, other issues facing local youth includes teen pregnancy, cigarettes, alcohol, and gangs.
