2026 Sports League

Coconuts Franchise System: Owner’s Portal

Welcome, baseball academy owners, to the official overview of the Bohol Youth Sports League (BYSL).

The BYSL is a separate entity, 100% owned by Lerma and Merv Moore, created to centrally plan, organize, and elevate baseball and softball competition across Bohol Island.

Our mission is to create a structured, exciting, and sustainable competitive environment for all our member clubs and their athletes.

League Ownership & Profit Sharing

While the BYSL is owned by the founders of Bohol Coconuts, its success is a shared venture with every founding club. Each of the founding academies will receive a percentage of the BYSL’s annual net sales profits.

This model ensures that as the league grows and generates revenue through expansion franchises, social media channels, events, sponsorships, and tournaments, every academy directly benefits, aligning our collective goals for youth sports development.

League Structure & Divisions

To foster intense local rivalries while minimizing travel time and costs, the BYSL is split into five geographic divisions:

Central Division: Loay (22,294), Baclayon (22,061), Alburquerque (10,540), Loboc (18,302), Corella (14,762), Bilar (21,268).

West Division: Valencia (37,304), Jagna (33,357), Duero (23,899), Guindulman (21,686), Candijay (20,962), Anda (17,778).

North Division: Buenavista (23,882), Getafe (27,525), Talibon (49,573), Trinidad (21,233), San Miguel (23,149), Ubay (85,238).

Post-Season Play: The top two teams from each division will advance to the playoffs, and division champions will face a runner-up team that was not in their respective divisions.

Hosting & GameDays

Each academy will have the opportunity to host a GameDay in their community, organizing a local schedule for 8-12 games on two field areas. The inaugural BYSL GameDay will be hosted by the Bohol Coconuts Baseball & Softball Club in Baclayon in December 2026.
