Franchise General Manager Duties

Coconuts Franchise System: Owner’s Portal

As the General Manager and Owner, you are the visionary and operational leader of your baseball academy. You hold a unique, dual-role that blends the responsibilities of a professional sports executive with the heart of a community advocate.

Your duties will encompass building a competitive sports brand while creating a vital hub that uplifts every member of your community.

I. Core Leadership & Vision

  • Set the academy’s cultural tone, mission, and values within the broader Bohol Coconuts system.
  • Act as the primary ambassador and spokesperson for the club in your territory.
  • Develop seasonal and long-term strategic plans for athletic development and community impact.
  • Uphold the dual mission of developing elite prospects and serving as a beacon of positive activity.

II. Team Identity & Baseball Operations (The Fun Stuff!)

Create Your Team Identity: Design and finalize your academy’s mascot, logo, and color scheme.

Outfit Your Players: Select and manage inventory for official team uniforms, practice shirts, and club apparel.

Build Your Farm System: Oversee the identification, training, and development of elite teenage baseball prospects within your territory, managing their pathway toward showcases, scholarships, and professional opportunities.

Secure Playing Facilities: Manage field rental agreements for immediate needs and lead the planning and development efforts for a future dedicated baseball field.

III. Community Hub Operations & Services

Manage Club Memberships: Oversee the recruitment, registration, and retention of youth and adult members, building toward a goal of 500-1,000 community members.

Supervise Club Services: Ensure the successful daily operation of the Soup Kitchen and Food Store, providing essential, affordable nutrition that makes your club a daily destination for families.

Orchestrate Club Events: Plan and execute a calendar of events that includes games, tournaments, social mixers, academic contests, and community festivals, ensuring your club is the heart of local activity.

IV. Financial & Administrative Management

Develop and manage the club’s annual budget, covering operations, equipment, and programming.

  • Oversee all financial transactions, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Manage relationships with local vendors, sponsors, and partners.
  • Hire, train, and supervise key staff and volunteer coordinators.

V. The Heart of the Role: Community Leadership

This is your most important duty. Bohol faces significant challenges, and your club will be a powerful force for good. You will:

Provide a safe, structured, and positive environment for children and adults, offering an alternative to idleness and a source of hope.

Foster intergenerational connections through sports and social activities, strengthening community bonds.

Become a trusted and important leader in your barangay—a person known for building people up, both on and off the field.

By embracing these duties, you will do more than run a business. You will launch a legacy institution that shapes futures, discovers talent, and transforms the daily lives of your community members.

Welcome to a role where your success is measured in wins, scholarships, contracts, and smiles.
