To ensure the successful launch of the Bohol Youth Sports League (BYSL) and the integration of all founding clubs, adherence to the following 2026 deadlines is essential. These dates are designed to create a fair, organized, and professional foundation for all teams and the league as a whole.
Founding Club Status & Financial Deadlines
March 1, 2026: FINAL DEADLINE for payment of all remaining franchise balance fees. Clubs fulfilling all financial obligations by this date will be officially designated as Founding Clubs.
Founding Club Benefit: These clubs are permanently entitled to receive a percentage of the BYSL’s annual net sales profits, including revenue from future expansion franchise sales.
March 16, 2026: The standard franchise fee increases from the founding rate of $1,500 to $10,000 USD for any new franchises sold after this date.
Competition & League Registration Deadlines
October 31, 2026: FINAL REGISTRATION DEADLINE for the 2026 BYSL Pre-season Tournament and the 2026 Regular Season competition. All club teams (across all age divisions) must be formally registered with the league office by this date to be eligible to compete.
Operational & Administrative Deadlines
August 15, 2026: Deadline for submission of final club branding (logo, colors, mascot name) to the league office for official approval and uniform/signage production.
October 15, 2026: Deadline for all clubs to secure and submit proof of a primary home field rental agreement for the 2026-2027 season.
November 15, 2026: Final roster submission deadline for all teams participating in the December Pre-season Tournament.
Ongoing League Commitments
Monthly Board Meetings: The BYSL will hold mandatory monthly virtual board meetings beginning in April 2026. Each club must have one designated representative in attendance.
Annual Meeting: All baseball academy owners are required to attend the Annual BYSL Owners Meeting in October 2026 via Zoom (specific date TBA).
Note: Failure to meet these deadlines may result in loss of Founding Club status, exclusion from competition, or forfeiture of league profit-sharing for the applicable season. The league office is available to support all franchises in meeting these critical milestones.
